Mrs. Marion Judean (Holmes) Scott

Obituary

Mrs. Marion Judean Holmes Scott, was born on January 3, 1928  in Jackson, Mississippi to Mr. Alex Holmes and Mrs. Vangie Lee Holmes.

Mrs. Holmes made her transition to her heavenly home on Sunday March 21, 2021 peacefully at home with her family surrounding her bedside.

Mrs. Marion Scott confessed Christ at an early age at White Oak Baptist Church and later United with Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Tougaloo, Mississippi for over seventy (70) years. Mrs. Marion  served with many capacities, Sunday School Teacher, Church Secretary, President of the Missionary Society , and member of the Mother Board. She was employed with Jackson Country Club where she served as the Head Cook and also was employed with St. Catherine's Village in Madison, Mississippi where she final retired.

Visitation will be held here in Peoples Funeral Home of Jackson on Friday March 26, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m. 

The Staff of Peoples Funeral Home will be conducting the Funeral Services on Saturday March 27, 2021 here in Peoples Chapel time 12:00 noon.

Interment: Natchez Trace Cemetery - 759 Highway 51 - Madison, Mississippi 39110.
