Robert Anderson was born on February 22, 1960 to Willie Mae Anderson-Williams and Robert Huff in Jackson, Mississippi.
Robert confessed Christ at an early age at Greater Blair Street A.M.E. Zion Church. He later attended Pearlie Grove M. B. Church.
He was very athletic in school. He received numerous awards at Whitten Middle School as well as Wingfield High School in track and football.
Robert was united in holy matrimony to Joe Ann Butler and to this union two children were born: Marcus and Olivia.
Most of his work history was as a sanitation technician, He worked for the City of Jackson for many years. He also worked with BFI as well as Waste Management. He retired early in life due to his health from Waste Management.
Robert is survived by his wife, Joe Ann Anderson; his son, Marcus (Ashley); his daughter, Olivia Anderson; two grandchildren: Tatyana and LaMarcus Anderson; his mother, Willie Mae Anderson-Williams; brother, Vincent Williams; two sisters” Mary Amos) Curtis all of Jackson, MS; and Arlean Williams of Lincoln, NE; aunt, Mildred Anderson of Long Beach, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing for Mr. Robert Anderson will begin on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Peoples Funeral Home, 886 North Farish Street, Jackson, Mississippi from 1:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Anderson will be at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel, 886 North Farish Street, Jackson, Mississippi at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 with her Final Resting Place being Autumn Woods Cemetery , 4000 West Northside Drive, Jackson, Mississippi.
