Nathaniel “Peter” Harvey

Nathaniel “Peter” Harvey, was born December 21, 1954, in Louise, MS to Nathan Harvey and Annie Grace Davis.
Nathaniel graduated from Jackson Central High School in 1972. While attending Central, Nathaniel excelled in both basketball and baseball. He was voted Most Athletic and Most Versatile his senior year. He was known on the court as “Nate the Great”. After high school, he attended Utica Jr. College.
Nathaniel worked as a delivery driver and a warehouse worker for numerous companies. During his leisure time, Nathaniel enjoyed playing softball for local teams. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Nathaniel was preceded in death by his parents Nathan Harvey and Annie Grace Davis; his brother Edward “Sug” Vaughn.
Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memory a devoted and loving wife, Sandra Kay Harvey; daughter Kimberly Branson; three sons Eric Branson, Roderick (Nakeesha) Branson, and Zerric (Lydia) Branson; six grandchildren Savien, Patrick, Jordyn, Zerric Jr., Zenobia, and Kayden; brother O.C. Mattox; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
