Mr. Eric James Cooper, Sr., was born on Sunday June 23, 1968 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Mr. Willie James Carter and Ms. Alinda June Cooper.
Eric was the youngest of two children by his mother. He often spoke of his time playing football and starting his fitness regimen while attending high school Eric continue his education at Jackson, State University and Electrician Engineering Program that would eventually lead him to a career as an Electrician. He was also fortunate to have worked in law enforcement and security while living in Chicago, IL.
Eric was a member of St. Matthew's Baptist Church during his childhood. Although he did not have a church home during his transition, his faith and spirituality were strong. Eric was fondly nicknamed Fred Sanford because he would find his treasure in the trash each time. He was natural - born Carpenter, Eric enjoyed creating beautiful pieces of furniture. He had loved for RC cars, drones, and a fixation on televisions. Eric would throw a party every weekend because he enjoyed cooking and making people happy. Eric also loved to dance. Last but not least He was a member of the WHO DAT NATION, Eric was A LOYAL New Orleans Saints FAN.
Eric transcended from this earth life on Sunday December 27, 2020. He is preceded in h by his parents Alinda J. Cooper and Willie J. Carter. Older brother Jerrell C. Cooper grandparents Lynch (Bogus) Cooper, Sr., and Jimmie Amiker-Cooper. Uncle Lynch Cooper, Jr.,
He is survived by his current wife, Dr. Theresa Kearns-Cooper three stepsons, Klaven S. Jones, II of Brooklyn, NY Curtis J. Jones, Jermaine M. Jones (Lauran Jones) Orlando, FL. Eric is also survived by his oldest son Patrick Kidd (Princess Kidd) of Dallas, TX. as well Malinda Gregory (Jessica Cooper) and is stepson Robert T. Jimerson (Elonda Jimerson) from his first wife Charlotte is also survied by his daughter Auri, 916) sixteen Grandchildren Uncle Roy Cooper with a plethora of cousins and a tone of FRIENDS.
Mr. Eric James Cooper, Sr., will be having a Memorial Services on June 23, 2021 form 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. here in Peoples Funeral Home Chapel.
