Obituary

Mr. Earl Knight of Jackson was born on November 20, 1929, in Yazoo County to the late Mr. Owen A. Knight and Ms. Betty Morris.

Earl attended Lynwood School and after graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served for three years.

Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Knight of forty years in 2018; his parents, grandparents, six brothers, two sisters, one aunt, three uncles and one grandson.

Earl accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age. His life with Christ led hi to join New Mount Zion M.B. Church, where he served as a Trustee. Earl will alsways be remembered as someone who was more than an family member, coworker or friend. He was someone who God gave to the world as a precious and irreplaceable gift; a gift that will awlays be remembered, cherished and celebrated.

Visitation hours will be open to the public on Sunday, October 4, 2020, from 1-6 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel, located at 886 N. Farish Street - Jackson, Mississippi 39202

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020, at Unity Fellowship Baptist Church, located at 5609 Clinton Blvd - Jackson, MS 39209

Interment: Garden Memorial Cemetery, located at 8001 Hwy 49 North - Jackson, MS 39209
