Clarence Knightandale, Jr. was born on August 10, 1937 to the late Clarence Knightandale, Sr. and Helen Coleman of Memphis, Tennessee.
Clarence, at an early age, confessed Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at Evergreen Baptist Church in Jackson, MS where he served as a Deacon. He later united with Morning Star Baptist Church in Jackson, MS, where he served as an usher.
He attended Memphis Public Schools He was a long distance trucker for many years. He also worked for Harper Fountain in Jackson, MS. He retired from Heavy Equipment in Pearl, MS.
On Monday, March 29, 2021, God looked down from Heaven and saw a soul that was tired. He reached out His Hand to Clarence and took him to a place of rest and peace to be with the Lord.
His wife, Rosie Lee; his father, Clarence Sr.; his mother, Helen Coleman; his nephew, Donald Hilliard; all preceded him in death.
Clarence Knightandale leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Pat Perkins; his nephews, Otis Jr. and family, Lasalle, and Maurice; his niece, Mary Catherine; three sisters-in-law: Celestine Williams, Earnestine Mayes and Alice Mayes; one brother-in-law, Frank Mayes (Shelia); a special family friend, Ms. Wheat; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation Hours will be held Friday 04/02/2021 from 12-7 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home
The Funeral Service will be held Saturday 04/03/2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Peoples Funeral Home Chapel and proceed to Garden Park Cemetery located on 8001 Hwy 49 North Jackson, MS 39213
