Miss Naudia Denise Moncure died on April 29th, our beautiful 21 year old left us to be with her Heavenly Father and other loved ones who have passed away. She was born on December 3rd, 1999 to her father and mother, Terrance De’Shaun Moncure & Marguita Nekia Catchings. She was the oldest of three children.
Naudia was a member of Cade Chapel MB Church where she attended the daycare and later joined the dance ministry. Naudia was a 2018 graduate of Murrah High School where she was a member of JRTC drill team. She then attended Jackson State University, majoring in Criminal Justice. Along with school she worked at Belks and later became employed with 1st Baptist Church of Brandon as an educator.
Naudia touched so many lives and left an everlasting impression in their hearts. She loved family gatherings and posting messages on Facebook to her Uncle Leonard and others. She was a firm believer in finding enjoyment out of the simple pleasures of life. She spent her free time caring for her two cats, Heavenly Lu and Libby, conversations with her brothers as well as sharing laughs with her best friends, Eric Dixon and Justice Greer.
Naudia had a bounty of amazing gifts of which her ability to make others smile. She lit up the world with her enthusiasm and her vibrant spirit made her a friend to everyone.
Naudia will be deeply missed by her parents, Terrance and Marquita Moncure; pateral grandparents, Rickie and Claudia Denise Moncure; materal grandparents, Willie and Marilyn Langford; brothers: Terrance De’Shaun Moncure, Jr., and Jordan DeCharles Moncure; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will also be missed by her boyfriend Joshua Towers and close friends Eric Dixon and Justice Greer.
Public Visitation for Naudia will be Friday, May 21, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. There is also a wake schedule from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Peoples Chapel, 886 North Farish Street, Jackson, MS.
Private Funeral services for family only will be on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Cade Chapel M. B. Church, 1000 W. Ridgeway Street, Jackson, MS with burial at Garden Memorial Cemetery.
